On January 13th, 2023, Hon’ble Minister Shri Jacob Zhimomi GoN undertook an inspection of the road being constructed from Diphupar (Central Jail, Dimapur) to Niuland District, which stretches for 21 KM and is a lifeline for more than 100 villages. At the inspection site, the Executive Engineer (PWD), department officials and the contractor were also present. Out of the total 21 KM, 7 KM have been completed. The Minister emphasized on quality and strongly advised against compromise of raw materials. He also called for completion of the project at the earliest. The Minister made it a point to remind the officials and the contractor that he will be inspecting the road construction site again.
