(Dimapur 24X7) , October 10 | On Oct 9, The Zelieangrong Youth Organisation Dimapur (ZYOD), in coordination with local youth and women organisations, met with the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, to review the progress of the Pimla murder investigation. Following the meeting, the ZYOD President confirmed that the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report has been received and that the law enforcing agencies have filed a supplementary charge sheet in court on October 7.

Acknowledging the recent developments, the President said the organisation has decided to temporarily suspend its proposed third phase of agitation, which was earlier scheduled for October 9, to allow the legal process to continue. “While our ultimatum period has ended, we believe in giving the system a second chance to ensure justice prevails,” he said.

He added that the organisation will await the court’s hearing and review the outcome before deciding on its next course of action. “If justice is not satisfactory, we will continue our agitation,” he affirmed.
