The 5th edition of the WENN Bazaar will be held from October 15 to 17 at Agri Expo, 4th Mile, Chümoukedima, with 167 women entrepreneurs from every district of Nagaland participating, officials of the Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN) said on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference at the WENN office in Dimapur, the officials said the three-day bazaar, themed "One Nagaland, One Marketplace – Women Entrepreneurs from Every District," will run daily from 11 am to 9 pm.
The event was earlier held at CT Square, Chümoukedima. The officials said it has been shifted to Agri Expo this year because of the increase in the number of vendors. They added that the market has grown and public demand is expected to be higher.
Stalls will cover food and beverages, food processing, handicrafts, handloom, retail and self-help groups (SHGs). A dedicated kids' area will also be set up.
Besides the marketplace, the bazaar is designed as a learning platform where participants can build business skills, expand their networks, and gain insights into financial management and governance. Ten workshops are planned this year, and organisers said ample parking space will be available.
Organisers expect around 15,000 visitors and said revenue is likely to surpass the ₹70 lakh recorded last year.
The bazaar has grown steadily since 2022, when it began as a small pop-up with 20 vendors. In 2023, 53 vendors generated ₹18 lakh with over 5,000 visitors. In 2024, 75 vendors earned ₹36 lakh with over 7,000 visitors, and in 2025, 110 vendors generated ₹70 lakh with over 10,000 visitors.
The officials thanked the media for its support and urged the public to visit the bazaar and support women entrepreneurs.
